The Little Rascals Reunion!

I can’t put into words how thrilled I am to be seeing this! They completed my damn childhood, and got me through the worst of times. Well, cause yeah, they’re awesome like that. The movie never fails to make me laugh my ass off, and it never goes old!! Oh how I love them to the core! <3

Silver Couple 10/18/11

HAPPY, HAPPY 25TH ANNIVERSARY, MAMA AND PAPA!

It’s been a long and winding journey, but you’re still together, facing everything with us. We love you both to the core :)

Looking forward to your 50th anniversary! ;P

‘Love is not love which alters when it alteration finds.’ When life gets hard, when things change, true love remains the same. I look at them and some how I feel safer. I don’t know if I can explain that, but they give me hope.  –Brooke Davis, One Tree Hill

Book Bargain

After finishing my exam in just less than five minutes (and I’m pretty sure I aced that test), I went to Booksale for some book hoarding hunting. Then I stumbled upon this very interesting book by T. Thomas Fortune:

It’s entitled Black and White: Land, Labor, and Politics in the South. It’s basically about white racism, and how although slavery was already abolished a long time ago, it still continues but in a different [and terrible] form.

The book’s really interesting not only because it tells us how inequality and racial prejudice are in no way acceptable and gone, but also because I just got it for 10php! Awesome, right?

So I guess I’ll be reading this baby before my next class (which is at 3pm). Happy reading! :)

Failbook

I used to spend almost all my time with lovely dovey Facebook. Now, I can’t even have the time to scroll down my news feed for updates and all. Gahd, I can’t even post anything. All I can do as of the mean time is check my messages. Sometimes, I check notifications, sometimes, just messages. I haven’t been updating my blogs as well., and that really sucks more than not having time for Facebook.

This busy schedule has been affecting my virtual life in a big way. My blogs have been my outlet for years now. I just have this need to rant and rant about bad days, and since everyday’s a bad day, it’s really stressful that I can’t take those out on my blog. Haish. Depressing.

I am thankful that I have the time (even just a few minutes) to rant about this and check my notifications and hundreds of unread Plurks.

I need a life. I seriously do.

I hope that I would also have the time to be with my friends and revive my social life. This is killing me. Big time.
